Not quite understand the way Hafiz Hashim play, it is a life & death match & he play like a training session....while the Japanese look like almost run out of breath but still fighting & fighting... Japan deserve the win...

Hafiz cannot be trusted. That's why Misbun dumped him years ago.. He's not a fighter, not like Chong Wei..
BAM should take the blame for that lost to Japan..

We're living a nightmare! Hahahahhaha

I think this is the first time in history Malaysian team lost to Japan. It feels like USA basketball dream team lost to China or "Macam kena langgar oleh kereta".

I thought Hafiz can make it when he came back to win the 2nd game in style. I thought wrong, I don't know what's wrong with Hafiz, why is he acting "lembik-lembik" the entire game? Putus cinta ker?

Malaysia should have some special training program, call it the 2 years Thomas Cup Army Style training program to train some youngsters to become muscle strong players like Chong Wei and Lin Dan. Bring some new faces to the badminton world, as for veterans like Chong Hann and Hafiz, find them a coaching job in a badminton league. I hope there will be a ASEAN badminton league soon.

Malaysia shall focus on what Malaysian good at, put their money into promoting badminton across ASEAN countries build up strong badminton players, create a ASEAN badminton league. Malaysia can forget about football, don't waste more money on football, Malaysian just don't have the physical and talent to be in the world stage of football.

ASEAN countries can build a whole industry/economy of badminton if we put money into creating and promoting the ASEAN badminton league. ASEAN badminton league can be as big as English Premier League.

“WHAT A SHAME"!!!

Muhammad Hafiz Hashim - A disgraceful moment to all Malaysian. A world ranking no. 22 Malaysian player lost to world ranking no. 214 an unknown Japan's player (correct me if the ranking is wrong).

Is really Malaysia are out of player? Is there are really no other Malaysia player can replace him? How many years he has been playing badminton? I think we'll lost to Nigeria's player too if we face them (so lucky that day they're late for the game)!!!

The double is a big disappointment, Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari and Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif.

They are chosen because of political reason NOT because of merit. Don't you guys smell fish?
