From KANGAR to SONGKHLA by Bike...

Last weekend, I travelled by motorbike from Kangar, Perlis, to Songkhla, Thailand. It was an adventurous ride together with 12 other "small" bikes. I would like to share the experience with all of you...

The early birds.. 8.00am.
Stopped along the way to wait for 2 other bikers..
Declaring our vehicles and Passports at the border in Padang Besar.
Refuelling our bikes somewhere on the way to Hatyai..
Fruit trees along the trunk road to Hatyai...
The group arriving in Hatyai...
Stayed at the Asian Hotel ..
 Made our reservations...
Visited the Hatyai Biker Club on the way to Songkhla..
One of the models posing ...
Some of the bikers at the exhibition...
The venue where the Thai Bikers gathered...
The sign board on the way to Songkhla..
Beautiful bridge..
 Here we come...............
The Mahavajiravudh Changwat Songkhla School, the twin school of SMK Derma.
One of our bikers encountered a punctured tyre..
Reaching one of the Songkhla beaches...
Posing at the beach...
On our way back to Kangar...
The traffic jam at the Danok/Bukit Kayu Hitam border..
The human jam at the Custom's Checkpoint in Danok...

That's the whole 2 day motorbike expedition from Kangar to Songkhla.. The only thing that was a setback was the long queue at the custom's checkpoint at Danok (Thai border). We were also charged RM1 for the "stamping" fees by the Thai Immigration officers... That's bad experience, because we were not charged at the Padang Besar checkpoint !!

Have a nice day.....

too bad that they charged you that extra "fee"... Did they personally asked you for it or givng signals or etc???

They clearly asked for RM1 by pointing out their pointer finger... Everybody is charged, you know...
