The Dried Ikan Kembung...


Since the prize of the local mackerel, the ikan kembung, had gone down due to its abundance in the market, I took the initiative to make it salted dried. I bought 10 kilos of fresh grade B ikan kembung and took 2 days to turn it into salted dried ikan kembung.
From 10 kilos of fresh fish, I got 3 kilos of dried fish. But the point is..., it tastes really, really nice when you take it with white rice or glutinous rice...
