JAMAICA's 4x100m Quartet sets World Record.

Jamaica's quartet of Nesta Carter, Michael Frater, Yohan Blake and Usain Bolt sets a world record in the 4x100 relay on the final event of the IAAF World Meet in Daegu, South Korea, a few minute ago..
The new world record now is 47.04s. The old record was 47.10s, also by Jamaica.
France came in second with a time of 38.20s
Saint Kitts and Nevis took the bronze in 38.49s. What a surprise !!

The USA team did not finish after the 3rd runner, Darvis Patton, tripped while trying to pass the baton to the 4th runner, Walter Dix.
Usain Bolt, who ran the anchor leg, was a good 20 meters in front of the French team at the finishing line.
Congratulations JAMAICA !!!!

Have a nice day..
