Dermarian Off to National Gifted Centre, UKM.

Pang Zheng Bin, a straight 'A's PMR 2011 scorer, from SMK Derma have been awarded a place in the PERMATApintar Education Programme at the National Gifted Centre, University Kebangsaan Malaysia, in Bangi.
The PERMATApintar programme was initiated by the wife of Malaysia's Prime Minister, Datin Rosmah Mansor last year.

Pang Zheng Bin is to report at the Centre on the 16th of January, 2012. The Centre is a place where all gifted high IQ Malaysian students from age 9 to 16, continue their schooling together.

Nicknamed Robin Pang in school, Pang, a bright, easy going, friendly student, is the pianist in the school's orchestra. He is also a school prefect. Pang have represented the school in numerous competitions - the notable one, in the "Spell in Right" competition - where he was the state champion, representing the state at the national level.

A gem in SMK Derma and now, to the country of Malaysia....
