New Thai Prime Minister - Mrs Yingluck Shinawatra - made her first official visit to Malaysia today.
It's a one-day visit.
The focus was about bilateral cooperation with her Malaysian counterpart Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. There were talks on border trade as well..., and that's good news to us, travelers.
the most beautiful Prime Minister in the world..
Yingluck and her delegation, which included senior government officials, flew into the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 2.30pm. Yingluck was scheduled to visit Malaysia in October last year but postponed the trip due to the massive floods in Thailand.
Yingluck also had an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at the Istana Negara.
Prime Minister Najib Razak hosted a dinner tonight, in honour of Yingluck at Seri Perdana, the Prime Minister's official residence, in Putrajaya.
Thailand is Malaysia's second largest trading partner in Asean. In 2011, total trade between the two countries was valued at US$22.95bil (RM69.4bil).
