Visitors From Yothinbumrung School, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand.

20 students, 18 teachers and 5 parents of Yothinbumrung School, from the province of Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, came to SMK Derma today. The Assistant Director of the school was with the group of visitors.
They came to see and learn Malaysia's way of education, especially our Teaching and Learning of Science and Mathematics in English. Co-incidently, Thailand have just started their SMEP programme last year, i.e. Science and Mathematics English Programme - a modified clone programme similar to our PPSMI.
Just for our information, there are 500 special schools in Thailand that are practicing the learning of all subjects (except the Thai language) in English, just like our education system in the 1970's.
