Memorable Weekend For Malaysian Sports

It was indeed a memorable weekend for Malaysia, with sweet victories all around the globe.
1.  Squash queen NICOL DAVID won the Hong Kong Open for the 7th consecutive time in Kowloon yesterday. Nicol defeated France's Camille Serme 11-9, 11-6, 8-11, 11-7 in the final.

2.  Kegler SYAFIQ RIDHWAN Abdul Malek, against all odds, won the AMF World Cup in Wroclaw, Poland. He is the first Malaysian to do so. Syafiq defeated top-seeded American Marshall Kent 236-225, 237-221 in the men's final.

3. The Malaysian SOCCER team defeated arch rival Indonesia 2-0 in the last group match to enter the semi-final of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012. Goals were scored by Azamuddin Akil and Mahalli Jasuli.
Malaysia will meet Thailand in the semi-final this Sunday.

*Just to mention: LIVERPOOL defeated Southampton 1-0. Keh, keh keh...
