2014 - A YEAR MALAYSIANS WANT TO FORGET

BYE BYE 2014....
What a year we, Malaysians, had in 2014...
Honestly, I really want to forget year 2014.
Three aircraft disasters in a year is too much - MH370, MH17 and QZ8501.
MH17 was shot down. And we don't know why?
QZ8501 was unlucky to rescheduled the flight time two hours earlier. It was to be a different story if it had stuck to the original departure time to Singapore.
MH370 is still missing till today!!! And nobody knows where it is? Can you believe it????

In sports, world badminton number 1 - Lee Chong Wei was "caught" tested positive on banned drugs. He had to serve a two-year ban.
Malaysia didn't do well too in the big games - The Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games, both fell short of the targeted Gold medals. The Sports Director was dismissed....

Then, the worst flood in Malaysian history came. Flood waters rise to more than 3 meters in many areas in the state of Kelantan. Over 200,000 people were evacuated. About 100,000 people are still staying in the relief centers at this very moment, today, as the flood waters are still on in Kelantan, Terengganu, Perak, Pahang and Johore.
The 2015 school term had to be postponed by a week, from 5th to 12th January 2015. And, maybe that is not enough....

Well... Life have to go on... May the year 2015 be a better year for Malaysia...
Have a nice day...

the info that we know
 QZ8501 flight path.
The SAR (Search And Rescue) enters it's second day today... Dozens of ships, planes and helicopters ere send to search for the aircraft.  And, till now, no news yet.. What was reported was 2 patches of oil slicks being seen from above - but yet to be confirmed.
Let's pray for the best.

Have a nice day....

MH17 - WHAT REALLY HAPPENED?

MH 17
First - it was the MH370.
Now - it is the MH17.
Can someone tell what's going on??
Why Malaysia? There are hundreds of other flights plying that route every minute. Why MAS? Why Malaysia?
Take a look at the airlines that took the route in the last 7 days...
Now, tell me why Malaysia Airlines????
Someone must be responsible for this...

The MH370 problem have not been solved yet. Now, another one is on...., the MH17.
Another waiting game??
Have a nice day....

MH370 UPDATE - Day 30

MH370

The following is the latest report today from Perth, Australia:
1.00pm
Australia’s Joint Agency Coordination Centre Coordinator Air Chief Marshall Angus Houston says a third signal detection has been detected, this time by Australia’s Ocean Shield.
It picked up an electronic “ping” in a different region, about 300 nautical miles from the area that the Chinese are targetting.
The Ocean Shield had picked up an “acoustic detection” about an hour before the media conference, he said.
“It’s something that needs to be investigated,” he said, adding that the vessel carried sophisticated equipment.
“This is an important and encouraging lead,” Houston, said, adding they have to do other investigations on the site itself.”
Yesterday, Chinese vessel Haixun 01 had picked up a “ping” at 25 degrees south latitude and 101 degrees east longitude, following an earlier detection on Friday.
Houston added that Ocean Shield and Britain’s HMS Echo,  which was also equipped with similar black box detection equipment, would join Haixun 01 “as expeditiously as possible to assist with either discounting or confirming the detecting”.
The latest search will be also be aided by the Australian air force.
“Today, Royal Australian Air Force assets will be deployed to assist in further examining the acoustic signals in the vicinity of where the Chinese ship has detected the sounds.”
“The whole of the existing search area remains the most likely area that the aircraft entered the water, but based on the new advice, the southern area now has a higher priority,” he added.

So... keep calm. Just wait..
Have a nice day...
